Setting up a new site
Use Caliban to host your entire website
You can easily create new sites on specific topics with WebImpetus. This can be a good way to present your content, as it can be more direct, and therefore less confusing, for visitors. It also lets you create links to pages on your other sites, and this can enhance the status of those other page.

WebImpetus is the cheapest, quickest and most effective way to do it.

Here's what you do:

Create a new domain
You can use someone to do this, but is actually not difficult to do yourself and quite cheap.

Using a service like www.cheapdomainnames.com you can choose the web address (domain) for your new site, register it and create the DNS entry that enables it to be found. The DNS entry should be as follows:

Hostname: www
Record type: CNAME (Alias)
Address: www.webimpetus.com

Specify your web address in WebImpetus
Now you need to go to your WebImpetus account. In the Modules menu, click on Preferences and change the field Domain Name to www.yourdomain.com (the subdomain you have just set up).

Now specify a page in the Home Page field, such home.html.

Go back to the Modules menu and click on Documents. Create a new document called home.html and put in you homepage content.

That's it! All requests for www.yourdomain.com will now be routed to the WebImpetus server and your new site is now live on the web.
