Templates define how your pages look. By using templates it is easy to change the look of your pages, since any change automatically updates all the pages to which it is applied.
As their name suggests, templates are used again and again to create web pages in which the look is similar and only the main content changes.
Templates contain tokens. These tokens specify where the Document's data will to display. More about tokens
