Google and its rules
|
 |
|
To be found in Google you need two things:
- Content - Information that people might want to find.
- An optimal site design, with plenty of text.
- Page rank - Google's estimation of the 'value' of your site.
Your content should always be directly relevant to the nature of your business. Google's rules state that, and visitors that find you for the wrong reasons won't love you for it.
Your page rank is a mark out of 10, and is partly determined by - guess what - content.
The other part of rank is all about links - the number of other sites than link to your site. Certainly, get genuine business partners to link to you if you can. But don't try too hard, or you'll run the risk of contravening those rules.
WebImpetus is all about managing your content, and serving it in a way that is both optimized and appropriate. We do not attempt to boost rank by means that err any way close to naughty. We advise you to do the same.
